of Irish Chippendale Mahogany Armchairs
Circa 1770. Each with a shaped top rail centered by a partial shell carving
above a pierced backrest with intertwined tracery carved back splat and
outscrolled arms with rollover ends. A generous upholstered drop seat
is raised on four squared legs join by an ‘H’ stretcher.
