English George II Walnut Gainsborough Armchair
Circa 1750. A large rectangular upholstered backrest with padded arms and acanthus-carved downswept supports above a generously proportioned upholstered seat; raised on front acanthus-carved cabriole legs and slightly splayed rear cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet with castors.
