English Provincial Elm Corner Chair
Circa 1760. A concave backrest with large out-scrolled armrests is above three columnar supports and two pierced back splats; the drop seat is raised on three straight circular legs and front cabriole leg with shell carving at the knee ending in a pad foot; the legs joined by turned X-frame cross stretcher.
