North Italian Giltwood Console Table
Circa 1790. A rectangular faux-painted marble top is above a richly carved frieze with birds and flowering vines, the central reserve with a flowering urn, the corners with lions masks; raised on circular tapering fluted legs headed by rich acanthus carving. Gilding refreshed throughout.
